rescue. (occasionally we make acceptations
for younger rock solid applicants )
2.)Be
Interviewed
by one of CDT reps
3.) If home is
not owned, potential adopter must provide
name and contact information of homeowner.(
Yeah...we do check this)
4.)Show
Solid References
including your current veterinarian and
others who can vouch for you.
5.) Potential
adopter can NOT live in an area where there
are breed Specific Legislation Laws in
place. (We will check this)
6.) Agree to a
Home check BEFORE & AFTER placement
7.)Fill out an
adoption Application in its entirety & Sign
a legal binding contract.
8.)Pay
a $125 Adoption Donation Fee
NOTE: Filling out an adoption app does NOT
commit you to taking a dog NOR does it
guarantee that the dog you are applying for
will be placed with you. It just helps us
to determine if you and the dog you are
applying for are a good match. If it is
determined that we feel the dog you applied
for and you are not a good match we will
suggest other dogs either within our rescue
or with another rescue that you may be
interested in applying for. Making the
perfect match with dog/person is vital to a
successful adoption placement.
Casa Del Toro Bully Breed Rescue. Will attempt to provide you
with an honest evaluation of the pet you wish to adopt.
However, no one can predict how any animal may react in a given
situation.Therefore, the applicant/s is/are
strongly urged to exercise prudence and caution in introducing a
new pet into any situation until the pet has become fully
adjusted to its new environment and the applicant/s has/have
had an opportunity to become familiar with the pet’s unique
characteristics & personality.
